What is the Series About?
The limited series follows Doctor Joe O’Loughlin, who appears to have the perfect life. Living with a devoted wife, a loving daughter, thriving practice as a clinical psychologist, stellar media profile and a book deal. He’s even an Internet hero after saving a young patient ready to jump from the tenth floor of the hospital where he works.
Then a young woman is discovered in a shallow grave in a West London cemetery. Experienced police officer DI Vincent Ruiz and his rookie partner DS Riya Devi start the investigation. But has the young woman been murdered? or is this a case of suicide?
As a famous author, Joe’s opinion is much sought after. When agrees to meet DS Devi, he’s only too eager to offer help with profiling and his experience.
Now known to take risks and break rules, does Joe have more to hide? Perhaps his recent discovery with a debilitating illness could explain his behavior.
But as they dig into Catherine’s death, we begin to wonder, do we know the real Joe, or does he have a secret life?
