What is the Movie About?
MacKenzie Graves is a bright, competitive, crossword-loving biology teacher in Vermont who recently lost her father, a beloved fire chief and heart of the Christmas tradition of fundraising town “The Reindeer Games”.
Every year since his death, she competes with her father’s old team, a bunch of colorful retired firefighters, to win the Games and keep their tradition alive.
This vacation, however, her world is turned upside down when a Hollywood star with dwindling fortunes and Mac’s high school crush Chase Weston returns home for Christmas to visit his pregnant sister and nephew and is reluctantly forced to attend at the Games.
When the opportunity arises to compete against his old megacrush, Mac is determined to show it off and win the Kris Kringle Cup at all costs.
As the competition intensifies, so does the spark between Mac and Chase, and Chase soon finds himself eager not only to win games, but to win his heart as well.
