Hidden Figures starring Taraji P. Henson and directed by Theodeore Melfi is scheduled to release in January 2017. The movie is based on a non-fiction book with the same name written by Margot Lee Shetterly, which will be available to buyers from September 6th 2016.

NASA and America was desperate to win the Space Race with Russia. At a time when computers weren't a permanent fixtures, making complex calculations took hours. Hours that were putting America behind in the race. At a time when questions on segregation were still just a murmur, Dorothy Vaughn (Ocatvia Spencer), Mary Jackson ( Janelle Monae), and Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson) defied all boundaries and joined NASA's Human Computer Project. These women helped put astronaut John Glenn into orbit and bring him back safely. The movie follows the lives of these three African-American women who defied all biases and obstacles to reach and join one of the brightest and best in the world.
