Nicole Barnes, called the “queen of crisis management,” is asked to deal with a scandal for Jordan Davies, a former pro footballer who now works as a TV commentator.
The network is not going to renew his contract because of something that happened in college. However, Nicole fails to mention that she and Jordan were once in a romantic relationship, which could be seen as a conflict of interest and hurt her own chances of being made partner at her firm.
Nicole’s efforts to rehabilitate Jordan’s image are constantly undermined by Jordan’s shallow entertainment reporter fiancée, making Nicole’s job even more difficult.
