What is the Movie About?
Summer is an architect who lives in a small town where she’s raising her young daughter Chloe.
When Vivian, her mother, finds herself in need of a place to live, her daughter’s orderly life becomes a little less, so after she invites Vivian to move in with them during this transition.
When she arrives, Vivian sets up an heirloom, miniature Christmas village that resembles their town, and tells Chloe that it grants Christmas wishes.
Chloe begins to set up the figurines, and real-life events seem to mimic the scenes she creates. For example, Summer’s chance meeting with Ryan, a newcomer to their community.
As the two get to know each other, they discover they have many things in common. Ryan slowly helps Summer learn to open her heart to love again.
Meanwhile, having to live under the same roof gives Summer and Vivian the opportunity to mend their fences before the holiday arrives.
Perhaps with a little help from the magic of the Christmas village, the family will be brought closer together.
