What is the Movie About?
Angie is an overworked aspiring writer who has finally been able to secure her own condo. The very first day in her new place, a parrot flies in through her balcony door.
Although she is unaware to whom the bird belongs, she is aware that pets are not allowed in the building. While at the local pet shop she meets Ted, an air traffic controller who not only lives in her building but is in the unit right next door.
Angie soon discovers that Ted is also hiding his sister’s dog, Zoe. Angie then begins trying to hide the bird, while Ted attempts to hide Zoe.
The result is a humorous back-and-forth. Angie and Ted make a pact to have each other’s back as they work together to duck and dodge Gineen their condo manager.
Unfortunately, one day Angie’s hopes are shattered when the parrot escapes and lands on Gineen, who promptly evicts her. Despite Teds assurances that he had her back, Angie was left feeling heartbroken when she learned the truth. She is even more surprised when she receives exciting and unexpected news.
