What is the Movie About?
The movie follows two star crossed lovers who are forced to be apart. Set in the backdrop of the dark segregation and violent times is south, Bayou and Leanne find a deep connection.
Even as they are warned by their kin, the two continue to spend time with each other. But nothing good lasts forever and Leanne’s mother forces her to move and marry a rich man.
Bayou is devastated an partly blames Leanne for not standing up to her family. Years later, he finds out that Leanne sacrificed their love for Bayou’s life and welfare.
Can the two lovers meet again in these turbulent times, or will their be just another story of love sacrificed at the alter of social injustices?
