The movie follows Hope Williams as her life goes through unexpected ups and downs that bring both happiness and finally despair.
Hope is a successful and passionate ER doctor who is extremely talented and well liked. When on a girls night out, she meets an accomplished artist. They hit it off and and soon begin a steamy affair. Spending time with him, Hope finds a side of her she never knew existed.
Meanwhile, as her personal life improve, her professional life seems to take a turn for the worse. An unruly husband of a patient blames her for his wife’s condition. But Hope knows it is his abusive pattern that has led to the patient’s condition.
While she is battling this, her personal life becomes entangled with her work life, and both are put at risk.
