The Legend of Michael Mishra movie is scheduled to release on 5th August. The biggest threat to the film this week is from Fever, which promises to be a thriller. After a spate of Drama, Comedy, and Biopics, the audiences are starved for a good action thriller.
The music for The Legend of Miachael Mishra is composed by various artists like Meet-Brothers and Abhinav Bansal and is a mix of upbeat, folksy tunes. You can read more about the album here -Music Review: Not Your Usual Fare

The Legend of Michael Mishra cast is very tight-lipped about the movie and there is not a lot they have said about what the movie is. So there is a 50-50 chance that it will turn out to be surprisingly good - like Pankaj Kapoor's
Matroo ki Bijli ka Mandola. But we will have to wait and see. Manish Jha is the director as well as the screenplay and story writer for the movie. The last move the Director-Writer was from a diametrically opposite genre, and this one appears to be his first attempt to create a comedy after movies like
Anwar in 2007.
The Legend of Michael Mishra (2016) Director: Manish Jha
Stars: Aditi Rao Hydari, Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi
The Legend of Michael Mishra Story
Michael Mishra is a bumbling goon infatuated with all things song and dance. He falls in love with Varsha Shukla (Aditi Hydari Rao) and follows her to the city to confess his love. I guess Boman Irani plays the role of the narrator who is telling the legend. Varsha agrees to formalize their relationship only if Michael agree to leave behind the life of crime. Michael Mishra surrenders to show that he is ready to become an honest citizen, but then breaks out of jail for his love, Varsha. That's just a guess. But with actors like Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, and Aditi Hydari Rao, the viewers can expect a better than average comedy.
Trailer of The Legend of Michael Mishra Critics Review
I was wrong. By all accounts, the talent of skilled Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani have gone to waste in this senseless comedy. Or perhaps just senseless nonsense that is played on the screen. The movie is full of old jokes and humor around English mispronunciations have become as old as the movie industry itself. Shubhra Gupta of Indian Express thinks that the movie is more likely to make you cry than get a smile out of you. The thoughts are echoed by Rohit Vats who warns you of mindless two hours and waste of money and time at the movie halls. Suhani Singh at India Today goes as far as saying the the movie was a mistake, and those who dare to watch it would make another one. In Summary, steer away from The Legend of Michael Mishra.
Fever, although it has flaws, may not at least leave you with a bad taste. For those who prefer to watch Drama over flippant movies,
Budhia Singh is the movie of choice this weekend.
