Suicide Squad Music Review: Purple Lamborghini Shines

Suicide Squad releases August 5th 2016 across the US. Written and directed by David Ayer, the movie is based on the antihero team of DC Comics. The ensenmble cast of the movie includes stars like Will Smith and Viola Davis. A couple of tracks for the movie were announced in June this year, and the entire list was announced this month. Director: David Ayer Stars: Margot Robbie, David Harbour, Jared Leto, Will Smith, Viola Davis In this installment of Suicide Squad, similar to the Expendables, Amanda Waller has assembled a team of  SuperVillians. They have been offered clemency in exchange of their participation in dangerous missions and help the government defeat powerful threats. Will Smith plays Deadshot, the assasin most have seen in The Arrow.

Suicide Squad Music Review

The album is a mix of some new tracks and a couple resurrected from the 90s. Eminem's Without Me is timeless and fits right in with the album mood. Most of the tracks belong to the Hip-Hop category, with a couple of tracks from Rock and  Electronic music genre. Grace revives another 60s song - You Don't Own Me, last made popular by Dirty Dancing version. Grace's version gives it the perfect treatment to fit into the movie's soundtrack, but it will take some time to getting used to this new version for the 90s listeners. Rick Ross and Skillrex's Purple Lamborghini is no doubt the pick of the lot. The composition is fresh and so out there that you can't resist it.  The listeners will get sucked into the bizarre mix of beats and electronic sounds, seconds into the track.  Heathens by Twenty One Pilots is another track that will get you hitting the replay. Slow beat rhythm and intense electronic strings mark the shifting moods of the track. Sucker for Pain perfomed by lil Wayne and whiz Khalifa is touted as the Suicide Squad Anthem. Skrillex & Rick Ross - Purple Lamborghini Official Video

Skrillex and Rick Ross released this video for the Purple Lamborghini track to coincide with the movie release.
