Lost & Found Music Review

The music of Lost & Found is composed by Shubhankar who also sings a couple of songs in the album. The music toes the current Bollywood music genre with upbeat music and Rahat-Arijit style of singing, along with a couple of melodious tunes.

The music fits right into the easy listening category. Although many Marathi music traditionalist may not find it melodious, the young will find the tracks like Tu Saad De  in tune with the times. Aas Hi Navi is a melodious number with a symphony music feel. The symphony feel to a couple of tracks give the music a haunting feel and paints the behind-scenes dark mood that the movie wants to communicate. The use of flute in other songs give the music a light and hopeful mood that gels with the movie’s other theme.

Hrishikesh Ranade is a treat to listen to and sings his songs well. You will also want to listen to Priyanka Barve in Saawlya. However, the song could have done without the chorus interruptions that change the overall mood of the song. Preeti Pillai sings Sang Na with passion, but Shubhankar struggles to finish it off with same intensity.

MovieRecipe Picks: Aas Hi Navi, Sang na

MovieRecipe Verdict:  Marathi music listeners should not hesitate to put this album on their playlists.
