What is the Hallmark Movie About?
Christmas Sail follows Liz as she must come up with a plan to save her childhood family home and keep that priceless connection to her childhood memories.
Liz is a single mom and has been living away for many years. When she finds out that her estranged father had an accident, she returns home to take care of him. The town in her memories is pretty much the same, except Luke, who is not the boy she remembers.
Liz with her daughter Hannah in tow, goes around the town sharing memories and the fun she had with her mother. No Christmas would be complete without participating in the town sail boat parade on Christmas eve.
But when she lost her mother, the tradition was lost and the sail boat was docked forever. Meanwhile, Liz discovers that her father might be on the verge of losing their family home. Not willing to allow that, Liz decides to participate in the sail boat parade and win the $25,000 grand prize.
She asks Luke’s help to create the best light display that will ensure a win. But Luke has a plan of his own that may not only win the prize, but also win her heart.
