Chucky TV Show on SyFy revives the iconic horror movie franchise from the late 8s that had everyone on the edge of their seats in the theatres. The character has been since adapted for many more movies and series around the world and has a unique place in the horror genre. The last movie of the franchise came out in 2017 and had the same terrifying effect on the horror genre fans.
What is the Series About?
Chucky TV show revives the horrifying doll as it makes its way in to the current world and leaves behind a bloody trail of murders.
It all begins when a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town. He soon connects and latches on to Jake, an easy target. Jake is a loner trying to find his place in the world after his mom’s death while never connecting with his dad or his peers.
Chucky’s presence soon throws the town into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets.
But Devon, the boy-next-door and true-crime junkie, is hellbent on making sense of Hackensack’s mysterious tragedies, both past and present.
Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies – and allies – from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
