Movie Review
The movie opens with a poor action sequence that is neither funny nor thrilling. The movie then dives into familiarizing the audiences with the different quirky characters. But this intro and the somewhat funny acts drag on until the interval. The first of kind of drags on and you begin to wonder if there is a story to this build up.
The close of the first act promises one, but the momentum is lost soon. The movie offers a couple of surprises and a few laughs. The ones in the movie trailer get the most laughs. All the language/translation jokes from one of the ladies are lost on the audience. The only ones that do get the audiences in a fit of laughter are cliched jokes that have been beaten to death. Most of the other humor depends on references to other movies and movie stars or weird facial expressions that get kids a bit excited.
The movie has a common plot with a couple of twists. But the humor is not quite up to the mark. Ritesh Deshmuk gives a good performance and gets the most laughs from the audiences. The soundtrack is forgettable and you won’t be listening to the music outside the halls.
Housefull 3 is average at best and the humor may work if you decide to go into the theaters with an intention to laugh.
