The new Lifetime movie follows two students Erin and Julia as their assignment of interaction with a convicted criminal turns into a nightmare.
Julia and Erin are smart and intelligent students at a college. Their assignment to create a criminal profile for the class leads them to meet a convicted felon Cole. In their initial meetings he insists that he is innocent and wrongly convicted.
Erin and Julia fall to his charms and tend to believe. When their teacher cautions them to not believe or take anything Cole says at face value, Julia takes a step back. However, Erin is convinces that Cole is a good guy and agrees to meet him when he gets out of prison.
When Erin suddenly goes missing, it is up to Julia to find the truth and save Erin before Cole can harm her.
