Only Murders in the Building movie follows three amateur investigators in a posh upper Westside building as they begin investigating a murder.
Charles, Oliver and Mabel are True Crime enthusiasts and love watching and solving mysteries on the TV. Their peace is shattered when a grisly murder rocks their exclusive upper westside building. Determined to find out what happened on the fateful night, the three begin to investigate the murder on their own and document everything on their podcast.
In the course of their investigation they meet their neighbors they did not know existed and unravel secrets that date back years. But in competition with each other, the three try to undercut each other’s investigation and create hilarious situations.
But it is not before they reach the conclusion that there might be a killer living among them as they race to make sense of the mounting clues.
