The Stranger She Brought Home follows Amelia whose plans to befriend a stranger and find a shortcut into his life end in a disaster.
Amelia is a 911 operator and often goes out of her way to help her callers. But she also has a strange quirk. She takes more than appropriate interest into the victims that call her and tries to insert herself into their lives.
When she finds out that one of her callers in now slid into coma, she decides to play his fiancé. When he wakes up with no memory of his past, she continues the ruse and asks him to accompany her to her home. Her intentions are not clear and she has no idea what she wants to do with this man.
But as the spend time and get to know each other better, she tries to help him identify his past. As she digs further into his past, she realizes that this one forced relationship may end with her in tight spot. As it happens the man has a dark past and may be a killer on the run.
Now, the question Amelia must ask herself is was she the one who was lying to the stranger or was it the man who was toying with her all this time?
