The Imperfects is the latest Sci-Fi series from Netflix that is supposed to release in 2021. Being different almost always makes you a target. While being strong may alleviate some threats, being different can be lonesome and keep you away from the things that you love. The new series puts this intense need to be normal and belong with a sci-fi twist.
What is The Imperfects Netflix Series About?
The Imperfects series follows a group of teenagers whose life has suddenly changed after an accidental mutation and genetic experiment.
As this group finds more like each other, the twenty somethings band together to find a solution to their problems and shed their ‘monsters’ tag.
Tilda Weber was once a lead singer of a famous Punk band. After the accident, she has developed super-hearing and a vocal power that can shatter anything making her a banshee like creature.
Abbi Singh was a geneticist in her former life. Now her eagerness to please others has converted her in Succubus like creature and the ability to control anyone around her.
Hannah Moore is another test subject of the experimental genetic treatment. But her allegiance is divided between Abbi, Juan and Tilda.
Juan was a graphic novelist in his former life. His ability to explore weird fantasy world has turned him into a beast that he calls Chupacabra.
Connecting them all is child prodigy Dr. Sarkov whose experiments have turned these people into monsters.
The group is now on a mission to find the doctor and force him to reverse the mutation and give them their normal lives back. But their biggest foe on this mission is Isabel Finch. Isabel has her own reasons to find Sarkov. But what is sure is if she finds him before them, they will never be able to get their old lives back.
