Moxie movie follows Vivian as she begins a revolution of sorts with her secret magazine and surprisingly brings together students from different groups.
Vivian is a young, shy girl who prefers to stay under the radar and all the gossip at school. But arrival of a new student suddenly riles up the whole population and their behavior spirals out of control.
Unable to accept this, Vivian takes a leaf out of her mother’s rebellious past and starts an underground zine called Moxie.
The zine writes about the existing biases, the wrongdoings around her at school, and everything that is either pushed under the rug or ignored. This unexpectedly sparks a movement that sees many joining her in the cause.
Soon, Vivian finds herslef forging new friendship with young women and allies across the school divide of clubs and cliques as they learn to navigate the storm together.
