What is Nail Polish Movie Review?

Nail Polish is a gripping legal drama as far as Indian series or films go, but it is not without its flaws. That it is a Zee5 original and not a mainstream movie gives us hope that we will see more original content that veers of slightly from the beaten to death mainstream path.

I say gripping because it keeps you engaged till the end to find out the truth. The filmmakers stay true to their initial promise and leave many things unanswered, but ensure that justice is done through the final verdict.

However, the telefilm is not without its flaws. The court scenes are flawed and not logically well argued. The defense arguments look good only because the prosecutor is made to look weak and has no clue what evidence he has before going to argue the case.

Manav Kaul is no doubt the star of the movie as he gives a riveting performance as Charu as well as Ranjeet. The pace of the movie too gets it right as the filmmakers do not force it to stretch much beyond two hours. Although they do sneak in a song – too hard to resist, I guess.

Overall the movie is worth spending two hours and you will love it if you like to spend time on understanding and talking about legalities of a case.
