Hallmark movie Taking a Shot at Love premieres on Saturday as we settle in, in the new year. Love often comes with new challenges and although life doesn’t always mean it can be either this or that, starting a new life can be daunting for us all.

The new Hallmark winter 2021 movie Taking a Shot at Love revolves around Jenna and Ryan as they must take a life changing decision.
Jenna is a ballet teaches with a struggling school on her farm. She loves to teach ballet to the kids and misses her days as the professional dancer.
When her cousin, a sports agent, asks Jenna to take his star NHL player under her wing, it comes as a big surprise. But Coop is no easy task. He laughs at the suggestion that Ballet can cure his career threatening injury and help him get back in the game.
Not impressed by his attitude Jenna is ready to drop him, but needs the money to keep her school for kids going. The two reluctantly accept that they need each other and Jenna begins to help him heal.
As they spend time during the Winterfest, and with her friends, they get closer to each other than they ever thought. But soon it is time for Coop to go back to his real calling.
Can Jenna sacrifice her only connection to the art she loves? or Will Coop not risk another injury and leave the game for Jenna for a quiet and loving life?
