Star Trek once again enters into the unknown as it explore new territory with its latest presentation Star Trek Lower Decks on CBS All Access. No matter how many versions we see on different star fleet ships, there is always more to explore for the fans. Star Trek now returns with its first animates series that will take fans into a rarely explores lower decks of a star fleet ship.
Lower Decks Plot
‘Star Trek Lower Decks’ set in 2380 follows a few crew members working on the lower decks and explores their life on the ship.
The series focuses on support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos, in 2380.
Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Rutherford and Tendi have to keep up with their duties and their social lives, often while the ship is being rocked by a multitude of sci-fi anomalies.
The Starfleet characters that comprise the ship’s bridge crew include Captain Carol Freeman, Commander Jack Ransom, Lieutenant Shaxs, and Doctor T’Ana.
Star Trek Lower Decks Cast
Mike McMahan of ‘Rick and Morty’ develops the new half-hour comedy series. A new episode will be made available every Thursday after the premiere on August 6 2020.
