‘Defending Jacob’ series follows the Barber family as their happy lives spiral into an abyss of despair after a horrific event.
Andy Barber is a happy man with a good job and a small family that her loves and who loves him. But this successful assistant District Attorney is about to find out that his life is suddenly becoming the center of the whole country.
Set int he suburban Massachusetts community is rocked by the death of a young high school student. When Andy’s son is accused of killing his school mate, Andy faces a tough choice between holding up his oath to always protect the truth and serve justice or pull out all stops to save his son.
The series is a suspenseful, character-driven mystery that is also a spellbinding tale of guilt, betrayal, and the terrifying speed at which our lives can spin out of control.
