Run series follows a woman whose humdrum life is thrown upside down when she receives a text from her college sweetheart.
Ruby Richardson is far past her college life and days of spontaneity. She is nicely settled in her routine life that has nothing exciting and is exactly how it should be. But when she suddenly gets a text from a number, it takes her back 17 years.
Ruby suddenly leaves her routine life behind and goes on a journey of her lifetime.
Ruby made a pact with her college boyfriend Billy Johnson 17 years earlier. They had decided if either one of them texted the word “RUN” and the other replied with the same, they would drop everything and meet in Grand Central Station and travel across America together.
But what has compelled Billy to invoke that pact now?
