Kingdom by the Sea book is an enchanting tale set in a small seaside village in Massachusetts. I love any story of pirates or treasure, and this book promised a treasure hunt early on. Throw in some lighthouses and historical stuff, and I was completely reeled in.

She slowly realizes that her aunt wanted her there for a reason – to solve an ancient mystery that her aunt knew about. Will Nicole be able to discover the treasure? Kingdom by the Sea Book Review
I was totally engrossed in the story from beginning to end. The local characters Nicole encounters add to the intrigue – two sisters with opposing personalities, the recently thin innkeeper who’s a cougar on the prowl, an old and aloof gentleman who lives on a large estate, a domineering housekeeper, a handyman who fiddles around Nicole’s property – each has a purpose of his own. The suspense rivals the romance between Nicole and her stranger, and her prosperous family is close at hand.
Kingdom by the Sea caught me by surprise but enthralled me totally. I am looking forward to reading more books from the author. And if they are set by the sea, I won’t mind.
