Unorthodox Plot
‘Unorthodox series’ follows Esty as she escapes from her home in Brooklyn and from an unhappy marriage and travels to Berlin.
Set in the orthodox Hasidic Jewinsh community world, Esty feels unsettled and has no outlet to her passionate feelings. Forced in an arranged marriage that is as incompatible as she is in the community, Esty is frustrated and a prisoner in her own home.
Esty finally decides to break free and runs away from her husband and the community with some papers and a little bit of cash. Her destination, Berlin, where she believes her estranged mother lives.
As Esty explore the world around her that she is alien to, and is pursued by her husband and his mate, Esty finds her true self in the part coming-of-age and a part thriller drama.
