Christmas at Dollywood follows Rachel Davis, an event planner, as she is roped in to plan a grand event at Dollywood, and ends up falling in love.
When New York-based event planner Rachel Davis gets the opportunity to return to her Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, hometown with eight-year old daughter Ava to plan the 30th Anniversary of Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood, she jumps at the chance to spend the holidays with her family and further prove to her boss that she is up to the challenge of taking on a bigger role at Gail Lane Events.
Back home in Pigeon Forge, Rachel hits the ground running at Dollywood, where she quickly learns she will be working alongside Dollywood operations director Luke Hakman . Between all the brainstorming for the event, food tastings and Rachel’s family traditions, Luke and Rachel grow close, and what began as a flirtatious attraction has grown into something much more.

However, after hearing he didn’t get the Dollywood promotion, Luke accepts an offer to run a park in Georgia and Rachel is offered a partnership at Gail Lane Events back in New York. Conflicted and confused, the lovers seem destined for lives apart.
