The Accident Series Plot
The Accident series follows a small Welsh community who must deal with the aftermath of a tragedy that they all could have avoided.
The community has been left behind, a large construction project offers hope for a better future. But an explosion, followed by a catastrophic collapse, leaves many dead, children included, and the community devastated.
Polly is the wife of the local politician who championed the project. Their rebellious daughter, Leona broke onto the site on the day of the explosion, but now is left with a lifelong disability after the disaster.
In the aftermath of the tragedy, grief quickly turns to anger. Unwilling to accept that their children were to blame, the families cry for justice. And as the gears of justice slowly turn, challenging truths begin to emerge.
