The Dominican Dream Story
The Dominican Dream follows the life of retired professional basketball player Felipe Lopez. The incredible journey takes us back to the 80s and 90s and into the live of Dominican immigrants who arrived in New York.
We see the world thought the eyes of an immigrant family whose youngest son, Felipe Lopez, became the top ranked high school basketball player in the nation and was touted as the next Michael Jordan.
The son who rose to unimaginable heights in professional career soon tasted the lows, but rose again to win hearts of his fans. Embraced as an immigrant hero, then cast aside as an American failure, Lopez would eventually find happiness not as a basketball player, but as the man he was always meant to be.
