Hallmark Movies and Mysteries continues with the Al Roker series of mystery movie this week before moving on to Haley Dean next month. In Death By Design movie, the fifth in the Morning Show Mysteries franchise, Billie Blessings must jump in to save her best friend from murder accusation.

Death By Design Movie Plot
Death By Design movie follow Billie Blessings as she gets suck into a new mystery to save her childhood best friend Marian, accused of murdering her twin sister.
Billie is helping Marian prepare for Marian and her twin sister Jasmine. Jasmine rules the party, with Marian feeling unwell at the last minute. Queen Bee to her circle of best friends, Jasmine gets into a verbal altercation with one of them – Riley – and orders her to leave the party.
Later that night, Jasmine is found murdered in an alley. Jasmine’s husband Aaron’s alibi is his assistant, who turns out to be a corporate spy for a competing tech firm. Soon, everyone starts to think Riley killed Jasmine but she nervously protests that she did not.
When it is learned that Jasmine changed the beneficiary of her two million dollar life insurance policy the very day she was killed, the list of official suspects grows. Everybody in Jasmine’s circle seems to have flimsy alibis, and each one has a motive.
Just as Billie is certain she knows who the killer is, she walks in on a trap laid by one of the other suspects to draw out the truth from the murderer.
