My Evil Stepdad Lifetime Movie Plot
My Evil Stepdad movie follows Ashley as she coaxes her mother to find a good partner before Ashley leaves for college. Recently widowed and comfortably rich, Tracy is still adjusting to a new life.
But Ashley is determined to help her mother Tracy find a romantic interest and sets up her profile on a dating app. But Tracy believes in traditional ways of meeting people. So when Jared makes an appearance, Tracy is smitten by his charm and good nature.
Their whirlwind romance makes Ashley happy, but when Jared moves in, it seems to happen a bit too soon. And when he begins to control all aspects of Ashley’s life and their finances, she begins to doubt his true intentions.
As Ashley digs deeper, Jared’s true intentions and personality begins to surface as he tries to cause a rift between the mother and daughter. And when Tracy’s business partner suddenly dies in an accident, danger comes too close.
