But what if some unknown force thrusts an apocalyptic event that is almost impossible to control? Black Summer series on Netflix is another Zombie apocalypse series that follows a distressed mother looking for her daughter and is prequel to Z-Nation. If you are also a fan of Fear the Walking Dead and can’t get enough of the zombies, this could prove to be another such drama.

Black Summer Series Plot
Black Summer series follows a mother daughter duo as the world around them begins to crumble and survival is the only thing that matters. As a zombie apocalypse looms on the horizon and near and dear ones begin to get affected, the government goes all out to quarantine the infected and evacuate the ones they can.
While trying to reach a military evacuation site, the two are torn apart and forced into different vehicles. Determined to find where her daughter was taken and reach her, she joins a group of people who decide to strike out on their own.
Thrust alongside a small group of American refugees, she must brave a hostile new world and make brutal decisions during the most deadly summer of a zombie apocalypse.
