15th August movie revolves around a young couple struggling to make a decision about their relationship. Independence means different things to different people. For some it could be about independence to choose while others it could be something else.
The movie brings audiences a snapshot of Gandhi Chawl, where the residents are planning to celebrate the Independence Day. We meet various characters from the chawl and get a peek into their personal problems.
As the day dawns, various story lines converge and chaos and mayhem rules supreme. Our young lover must decide to finally make a commitment or lose his lady love forever. And the residents must stick together to rescue a kid who has stuck his hand in a hole for the flagpole.
