After Life Neflix Series Plot
After Life series follows Tony as his life takes a sudden turn. Tony has had a perfect life. A sweet, helpful man with a loving wife and a comfortable life, happy with the way things are. However, when his wife Lisa dies, Tony suffers from depression and something inside of him changes.
After contemplating to end his own life, Tony decides to go the opposite way and live a life of irreverence. He is not afraid of losing anything anymore. He doesn’t care whether people like him or not, or what they think of him.
Tony thinks he has had enough of being sensitive to others’ feeling s and decides to live an unencumbered life where he will say anything that he pleases and behave any way he wants. He feels this new found freedom is kind of a super power that will set hi free.
But when people around him refuse to accept that this Tony is the same man that they have come to like for so long, things become tricky.
Season 2
In series 2, whilst still struggling with immense grief for his wife, we see Tony try to become a better friend to those around him. Each grappling with their own problems and only to be intensified by the looming threat of the local newspaper being shut down.
