Actor Vicky Kaushal, who has had a great run at the movies this year with hits like Raazi and Manmarziyaan, said being under pressure keeps him moving. The recently unveiled trailer of war film Uri: The Surgical Strike starring Vicky Kaushal has received a humongous response from audiences . Bollywood celebrities too have hailed the trailer on social media. Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Suniel Shetty and Arjun Kapoor amongst others gave thumbs up to the trailer.

Looking back on last year, actor Vicky Kaushal reminisces, “Ever since I started working, especially in 2018, all my films were received well by the audiences and the box office as well. So it feels good. I am happy that Manmarziya was liked by the audiences and the critics as well.”

The actor confesses, he wondered about how he would fare. “I would keep pondering over questions like whether I would get films. But when films and characters started pouring in, I started getting offers for good content oriented films. So I fee l happy. My next film, Uri is all set to release in 2019, and I am looking forward to it. I play an officer serving a special corps of Para Commandos,” he says. Dwelling on his childhood, Vicky adds, “I used to think that I should join the Armed forces when I grow up. I feel every growing boy has this thought of joining the army and being able to serve the country. ”

Vicky Kaushal shared a video on social media about his preparation for the upcoming film Uri. The actor shared the video on his Instagram account and wrote, “A glimpse into my prep for URI. Not just me…me, along with a team of 20 other wonderful actors who gave their everything to the film.
The video shows how the actor used to wake up at three in the morning and go to Navy Nagar to get different kinds of training like Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and physical training with co – st ars. In the video, director Aditya Dhar revealed how the actor left no stones unturned, he trained for 18 hours a day.
The Uri team also went to a boot camp training, which helped them a lot to learn things like, how to use guns, crawling and understand their psyche etc.
