Christmas at Graceland movie story revolves around Laurel, a finance executive and single mom. With Christmas round the corner, and an important business trip on hands, Laurel decides to take her daughter Emma on the business trip. The duo check-in at the Elvis Presley estate guest house. Decked up for Christmas the two are mesmerized by the holiday mood.
Here, Laurel once again comes face to face with her old flame and one time singing partner Clay. He reminds her how close they were to making it big when Laurel opted out and went for a career in finance. Her business meeting too isn’t going too well and the owner of the local bank is not satisfied with what Laurel has to offer.
When the Christmas eve concert Clay has been planning for so long is threatened by last minute cancellation by lead singer, her turns to Laurel to fill the place. She reluctantly agrees and begins to enjoy going back to singing, and perhaps even Clay.
But when Laurel’s boss, Hatcher (Ned Vaughn), discovers she hasn’t yet closed the deal — and that she’s been “distracted” by her upcoming performance in the Graceland Christmas show — he demands she immediately return to Chicago.
