The sweet, sometimes salty, and sometimes bitter comedy from TBS is back for a second season, ready with new series regulars and new guests. Released in 2017, The Guest Book first season went on to becomes cable’s #1 comedy last year. Now, the creators are back in The Guest Book season 2 with a new holiday location and lots of new stories, at small beach side community.
The Guest Book Season 2 Cast
Greg Garcia writes the second season episodes and also directs six of them as Jimmy Tatro, Kimiko Glenn, and Dan Beirne join the cast and new series regulars. The second season premieres on October 23 with two back to back episodes at 10 PM. The series will then return to its regular time.

The Guest Book Season 2 Plot
The Guest Book season 2 plot features a new town, new series regulars, and new guest stars. In the small ocean-side community of Mabel Beach, vacationers who stay at the Bare Feet Retreat record their confessions, alibis, and farewells in the cottage’s guest book.
The guests are hosted by town locals Bodhi, Nikki and Tommy, played by series regulars Jimmy Tatro. Tommy and Nikki are a couple that manage Emmy Lou’s Grill and Bare Feet Retreat.
Bodhi is a handyman who often helps out at the grill and vacation home. Jibson returns as Vivian, the scheming bikini bar owner, who accompanies Eddie from Mount Trace to the beach in search of a fresh start.

Season 2 Episode 1
Vivian and Eddie leave Mt. Trace to make a fresh start in a small beachside town, where they meet Nikki and Tommy, the engaged couple running Emmy Lou’s Grill and vacation home Bare Feet Retreat, and Bodhi, the local handyman. Vivian starts working at Emmy Lou’s and Eddie quickly befriends Bodhi. Tara and Derek rent Bare Feet Retreat in an attempt to improve their marriage, which has been complicated by Derek’s addiction to VR.
Season 2 Episode 2
Rob and Shelley run an operation called Rock Bottom Industries. In exchange for money, they stage situations to make sure people’s drug-addicted loved ones hit rock bottom in a safe environment. They rent Bare Feet Retreat to lure in their next mark, a woman named Angel who is abusing every substance that can be abused. Meanwhile, Vivian develops a crush on Bodhi and Nikki goes into labor.
Season 2 Episode 3
Adam has cured himself of his counting compulsion and rents the beach house for a getaway with his family to show them how much he’s improved. When his family cancels and he’s left to his own devices, he tries to befriend another family on vacation.
