With its feet firmly planted in the Latin American market, Netflix recently announces six new titles releasing the year ahead. The service ensures that it offers its audience across the world a mix of local and international content. Wild District Netflix series is the latest addition to its Columbia releases and is an action thriller about rebel who is trying to reintegrate in the civil world.

Cristian Conti, Javier Gullón, Javier Fuentes-León and Mauricio Leyva write the story of the new Netflix drama set and filmed entirely in Columbia. The series is directed by Javier Fuentes-León with a stellar cast. The series premieres on Netflix in October with ten episodes in the season.

Wild District Netflix Series Plot
Wild District Netflix series follows John Gomez and his struggles. John is a lethal and one of the most feared guerrilla fighter active in the Columbian jungles. But after the government signs a peace agreement with the guerrillas, John decides to go back with his family in the city.
He travels to Bogota, trying to leave his past behind and start a new, normal life. While trying to reconnect with his family, he realizes reinserting himself in the civilian life will not be that easy. In spite of his efforts, John get embroiled in a web of crime and corruption.
Trying his best to protect his family, and adjusting to a new life, John now stands at the crossroads of life and must choose what is right and what side of the law he must stand.
