There’s always a strong motivation to crime sprouting from old animosity, a slight, a betrayal or love. There is also the crime of passion that stems from perhaps temporary insanity. But what confuses people most is the crime that people commit just for the pleasure of it. Hidden TV series on Acorn TV brings a story set in haunting and beautiful Wales and introduces viewers to one such crime and the effect it has on the small community.

The series premiered earlier this year on BBC Wales and is created by Ed Talfan and Mark Andrew. Caryl Lewis writes a thrilling story which it more of a study in character than a whodunit kind of a mystery. The series premieres this month in eight parts.

Hidden TV Series Plot
Hidden TV series follows Dylan Harris as he abducts a young girl and keeps her hidden. The series then shows us the community from different perspectives. From the eyes of DCI Cadi John, who is all business and determined to catch the assailant. However, the crime has an effect on her too and we see her struggling and even sympathising with the man she should not trust.
The drama is made up of inter-weaving stories, all linked by a single case – the abduction and incarceration of a young woman. A woman failed by the police and held in captivity for years, high in the Snowdonia mountains.
