Goliath was one of the best legal dramas that came out on Amazon. The original premiered in 2015 and had the quality of growing on you. Its dull pace was a but off-putting at first, but if you stuck through the early episodes, the characters were interesting enough to pull you back. Goliath Season 2 returns on Amazon this week with new story that will take you to the LA underbelly.

Goliath Season 2 Plot
In the first season we met Billy McBride as he fought with his one time partner and biggest nemesis in his personal life and in court as he helped win an impossible case against his ex partner’s client.
In Goliath Season 2, Billy McBride, after winning a huge verdict in the Borns Tech case, is reluctantly pulled back into the law when his friend’s 16-year-old son is arrested for a double homicide. However, as Billy, Patty and the team start to investigate what appears to be an open and shut murder case, they begin to untangle a deadly conspiracy in the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles, where drugs, real estate and politics intermingle.
In the course of his investigation and legal fight Billy will face-off with: Tom Wyatt, a successful developer who wants to give Los Angeles a distinct skyline, Hakeem Rashad, the Chief Deputy District Attorney who has an old grudge against Billy, and Marisol Silva, a city councilwoman in the race to be the first Latina mayor of Los Angeles.
Once again, Billy finds himself facing a new Goliath, one that is as formidable as the city’s mayoral race and as tall as the skyline itself.
