The Bold Type is perhaps the only show on Freeform that retains some flavor of the erstwhile ABC Family. The series became a breakout hit last year and found place on many of the top TV Shows of 2017 lists, as the audience got involved in Kat, Jane and Sutton’s troubles at works and their dreams and aspirations. The Bold Type Season 2 returns on Freeform this week with the three friends as they stare at new beginnings.

The Bold Type Season 2 Plot
The Bold Type TV show is a glimpse into the outrageous lives and loves of those responsible for a global women’s magazine. The show revolves around its three main characters: Jane (Kate Stevens), Kat (Aisha Dee), and Sutton (Meghann Fahay). You will see them struggle to find their identity, manage friendships, get heartbroken, but all the while wearing the perfect jeans to flatter any body type.
The Bold Type Season 2 begins as Jane, Kat and Sutton are each faced with new beginnings and wrestle with the changes in their careers, friendships and love lives.

Season 2 Episode 1
Jane is excited to publish her first big piece for Incite, especially since she’s writing about a female CEO she admires, and she knows Jacqueline will be reading it. Sutton is thrown when a new corporate policy seems to give her and Richard the green light on their romance. And Adena grows frustrated when Kat seems too eager to flaunt their burgeoning relationship.
Season 2 Episode 2
Believing it shouldn’t matter, Kat bristles when Alex recommends she highlights that she is black in her company bio. However, while introducing her parents to Adena, Kat is forced to confront how her avoidance of labels has affected her life. Sutton is horrified when she discovers her fellow fashion assistants think she was asked to organize a photo shoot featuring “honorable men” for reasons other than her talent. And Jane tries to defend herself after the fallout from her Incite article, which doesn’t go as planned.
