TV Shows On The Go with Tata Sky+ Transfer

·

I am a sucker for good TV shows. Be it Comedy, Drama, or Crime. One of the downsides of working far from home and having long commute times is missing your favorite TV shows on weekdays. Weekend marathons and reruns do compensate, but it’s not the same as watching the latest episode in real-time.

And it is best not to mention the wrestling match you have to play every night with the remote to get what you want. Wouldn’t having your personal entertainment device really handy. I wish could just get away for an hour and immerse in the fictional world.

TV is super addictive and can drive people to do weird things. People have even killed each other over TV shows and Live cricket telecast. I am glad that it didn’t go all that wrong during the last IPL. I had a my nephew come over for a couple of days. And while I love to watch a game every now and then, Cricket doesn’t capture my attention all the time.

This fellow was so bent on watching each ball of the game that chose to hide the remote for all three days! The only thing we could watch was that one channel.

Now this year I will have an ace up my sleeve. The Tata Sky+ Transfer app helps me turn my phone into a remote. He can hide the remote, but he can’t control anymore :)

But hey, we can’t watch all the shows every day and I hate to choose one over the other when they are aired concurrently on different channels. Not all TV shows are created equal, here’s the list of TV shows that I enjoyed in the last decade and I am sure you will too.

These, of course, are not the only ones that I like, but the most memorable. There were many others I couldn’t watch because DVR was not that common back then, and neither were smart phones and fast internet connectivity.

Life is much more entertaining now with seamless high-speed connectivity that allows you to watch what you want where you want –  well, at least the free TV shows.

With new Tata Sky+ Transfer, I don’t have to worry about which TV show to pick. I will just record the shows and watch them whenever I want to take a quick break.

Watching the favorite TV show on the small screen is not a lot of fun, but it is better than waiting for the rerun or the weekend to find out the next twist in the story.

With Everywhere TV feature, I can literally see myself enjoying the next episode of The Last Ship during my next commute and forget everything about the blaring honks.
