Deception TV Show
For all the illusion and magic tricks fans, Deception TV show is an entertaining scripted drama that unravels the tricks and shows you a peek behind the illusions. So, it might spoil the charm of magic for you. The new crime thriller grabs your attention with its first trick as Cameron Black vanishes in Vegas and reappears in the Times Square, NY. With an overarching mystery, the show promises many tricks as he joins the FBI to catch his nemesis – an equally skilled and talented magician.
Jack Cutmore-Scott plays the part with his boyish charm, but lacks the magnetism of Simon Baker. It is Stephanie Corneliussen who captures out interest with her character as well as performance and keeps us hooked for this main battle. The weakest part of the new TV series seems to be the relationship and interaction between the FBI agent and her boss that seems meaningless and forced.
Overall Deception has a fresh plot with right pace and good enough performances to make you look forward to the next episode.
