Parties are boring, right? At least until you put in some entertainment for the guests. And getting adults involved in board games for a party is not the best of ideas. But hey, everyone loves to solve a mystery and that is what Brooks has planned for his brother Max’s party in Game Night movie. Only things don’t go according to the script here and the players have no idea what’s part of the game and what is real.

Mark Perez writes an interesting screenplay for this Action-Comedy directed by Goldstein and Daley. The movies is partly filmed on location in Atlanta, Georgia and has Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams in the lead role.

Game Night Movie Plot
Game Night movie follows Max and Annie as they plan to host the weekly couples game night for their friends. When Brooks, Ma’x Charismatic brother, suggests and arranges a murder mystery themed party, everyone are excited for the night.
But the fake thugs and faux Federal Agents suddenly don’t seem that fun when Brooks goes missing halfway during the party. As the six uber-competitive gamers set out to solve the case and win, they begin to discover that neither this “game”—nor Brooks—are what they seem to be.
Over the course of one chaotic night, the friends find themselves increasingly in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn. With no rules, no points, and no idea who all the players are, this could turn out to be the most fun they’ve ever had…or game over.
