6 Balloons movie story revolves around and brother-sister relationship. Seth is a happy guy with a young daughter and a family. However, he is also a former heroin addict and always on the edge.
Portrayed as a thriller, the movie follows Seth and his sister as he relapses and begs for one last hot. To complicated the matters, he is with his two-year old daughter. Having no other choice and out of love, Katie decides to help her brother.
The two, along with his daughter set out late in the night to find a detox center to check in Seth. The movie shows us the pain that the loves one go through trying to stay loyal to addicts and help them even when they know that the only one to blame for the situation is the addict.

The movie is a slice-of-life portrayal of a relationship of close family members of drug addicts. It does not necessarily give you a closure, but the intense emotions and tension of the night is captured well enough to keep you glued to the screen.
