20th Century Girls is a new Netflix original Korean Romance that shows us how love just happens when you are not looking for it.
What is the Movie About?
In 1999, a 17-year-old Bo-ra faces the most critical job of her teenage life where friendship trumps all else, even love. Her friend Yeon-doo is going out of the country to undergo a heart surgery, and Bo-ra must observe Yeon-doo’s object of first infatuation and report back to her.
“His name is Baek Hyun-jin. Height, 181 cm. Shoe size, 280 mm. He likes basketball. And he’s always with his best friend.”
To learn everything she can about Hyun-jin, Bo-ra targets his best friend Woon-ho. Things don’t go as intended, however, and Bo-ra is surprised to find her own heart beating faster.
